Please follow the instuctions below to setup your Apple Mac Operating systems for your Megalink Serivce

Apple Mac's are not support by the Megalink Help Desk for further detials on setting up your Mac please refer to your apple Distributor

If your Apple Mac use's PPPoe connections please use it other than the option list in these instuctions.

 

 

 

Introduction

PPTP allows your computer to connect to the Megalink network.


These instructions will help you set up PPTP to connect to the Megalink network with the following settings:

Server Address: billing.megalink.com.au

Account Name: Your Megalink User Name

Password: Your Megalink Password


 
Configuring PPTP
  1. In the Finder, click Go >> Applications (Figure 1).

  1. Open the Internet Connect program from the Applications window (Figure 2).

  1. On the menu bar select File >> New VPN Connection (Figure 3).

  1. Click PPTP and then Continue (Figure 4).

  1. Enter billing.megalink.com.au for the Server address.
  2. Enter your Megalink Account Name and your Megalink password.
  3. The Show VPN status in menu baroption should be checked (Figure 5).

  1. You can either Connect from this window or close it to connect at a later time.
Connecting
  1. To connect to the VPN server click the Internet Connect icon in the menu bar and select Connect (Figure 6).

  1. While you are connected you will see the duration next to the Internet Connect icon in the menu bar (Figure 7).

  1. To disconnect, click on the Internet Connect icon in the menu bar and select Disconnect (Figure 8).
